ADKR and SW are on a collision course yet again as both teams face off in the home of the ADKR at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. After a commanding win yesterday, the Knights made their position even stronger for the playoffs qualification and they will be looking to replicate a similar performance yet again. ADKR have been shaping up extremely well with all the players peaking at the perfect time and they will be hoping to churn out winning contributions like they have done all through the tournament. The fans will be elated to cheer their team as the Knights play their final home game of this season of ILT20.
An excellent bowling performance coupled by a fiery batting blitz powered the Knights to their 5th victory of the season. The Willey-Little duo rattled the Sharjah top order with a beautiful display of swing bowling which put the Knights in full control of the game. Bopara came in with an incredible spell to knock over the Warriors batting line-up as he picked up 4 wickets in no time and the Knights batter finished the chase off in a rampant fashion. ADKR definitely have the wood over SW and they will be confident to pull off another strong performance to clinch their 6th win of the season.
ADKR have had a roller-coaster of a season up till now and the excitement doubles up as they move into the final stages of the tournament. The Knights have been performing as a unit all season long and every game a different player has stood up and churned out a winning performance. ADKR will look to take the confidence from their previous wins into their next game and aim at not just qualifying to the playoffs but finishing in the top 2 on the points table. All in all, much to look forward to as the Knights face their next challenge.
