ADKR’s bowlers set the tone with an excellent collective effort, led by a masterclass from Piyush Chawla. The experienced leg-spinner castled the Giants with a superb 4/27, striking at crucial moments and breaking partnerships just when they threatened to grow. He was well supported by the rest of the attack, who maintained disciplined lines and smart variations, ensuring Gulf Giants were restricted to 165 and never allowed to completely break free.

In reply, ADKR laid a strong foundation through a confident opening partnership, with Alex Hales and Phil Salt batting with fluency and intent at the top. Hales anchored the chase with a well-constructed 46, while Rutherford’s timely cameo pushed ADKR firmly into the driver’s seat. As the finish got tense, Andre Russell rose to the occasion, applying the perfect finishing touches. With five required off the last five balls, Dre-Russ  launched the ball deep into the grass banks, sealing a sensational four-wicket victory and another memorable night for the Knight Riders at home.
