The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have announced retentions for the upcoming season of ILT20 2025-26. ADKR have managed to retain their biggest stars in Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Phil Salt who will form the major part of their core. Alishan Sharafu who has been a breakout star for them in the past two years has also been retained along with Sri Lankan limited overs captain Charith Asalanka who will add the firepower to the squad.

ADKR have also made some sensational new signings as they have brought in T20 stars Liam Livingstone, Alex Hales and Sherfane Rutherford. Both Livingstone and Rutherford will add to the depth of all-rounders and would add explosive power to the squad, while Alex Hales who is a bonafide T20 legend with 2nd most runs in T20 cricket will bring in his rich vein of experience. As the season inches closer, ADKR have managed to form a versatile and power-packed core of players and will be gunning for their first ever ILT20 title.
