The Knights made a rollicking start to their season on Sunday in Dubai as they defeated the Desert Vipers in their opening game. Andries Gous & Ali Khan helped the team carve a commanding win over the runners-up of last season. The bandwagon now shifts to Abu Dhabi, where the Knights play their first home game against the MI Emirates. Both teams are coming after great wins in their previous games and will be looking forward to carrying their winning momentum.
ADKR will be in their home at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi as they will be looking for their 2nd consecutive win in the tournament. Previous game, came with a lot of positives as the Knights first bowled extremely well to restrict the Vipers to a below-par total and then dominated the run-chase to clinch a comfortable win. The Knights came back twice after being on the backfoot - Once in the powerplay when the opposition openers went on the attack and second when they lost early wicket in the run-chase. ADKR displayed tremendous resilience, determination and great team spirit to complete a superb win.
The Knights will now be looking to replicate a complete team performance like their previous game and register their second win of the season as they take on the might of the MI Emirates. All the individuals will be looking to contribute as a unit and churn out winning performances for the team.
