In the first innings, ADKR’s bowlers worked hard in challenging conditions, showing resilience and discipline against a powerful MI Emirates batting line-up. Ajay Kumar stood out with two important breakthroughs, finishing with 2/42, while the rest of the attack focused on sticking to their plans and controlling key phases. Chasing 188, ADKR showed plenty of positives with the bat, led by a superb unbeaten 64 off 49 balls from Brandon McMullen. He anchored the innings with composure and maturity, holding the chase together from start to finish. Alex Hales provided strong support with a fluent 40 off 27, giving ADKR early momentum. Though the target proved out of reach, the intent, effort and belief shown by the group stood out.
